EB5AN Hosts In-Person Site Visits to Twin Lakes Project for EB-5 Investors and Professionals

In September 2023, EB5AN hosted multiple in-person site visits to its Twin Lakes Georgia project, a single-family home community developed by the Kolter Group.

Over 70 EB-5 investors, immigration attorneys, and promoters from Asia, Europe, South America, and the United States toured the Twin Lakes community and got a firsthand look at its remarkable success, high-quality homes, and fast pace of construction.

Invitees also interacted with members of the EB5AN team and the Kolter Group, getting answers to their questions about the Twin Lakes project and other topics of interest to the EB-5 industry.

By offering in-person site visits to its projects, EB5AN continues to fulfill its commitment to transparency and empowers investors to make informed decisions.

The Importance of In-Person Site Visits

The minimum investment amount to get a Green Card through the EB-5 program is $800,000. With such a significant financial commitment, EB-5 investors want to both immigrate through the program and get a timely return on their funds.

The key to success for EB-5 investors is to choose an EB-5 project with strong financials and that fulfills USCIS requirements for immigration. This makes the project selection process a crucial step for every EB-5 investor.

EB-5 investors should review a project’s offering documents and do research on the developer. Still, one of the best ways to gauge a project’s potential is an in-person site visit.

By being physically present, investors can assess the actual progress and quality of the projects, which might differ from what is claimed in promotional materials or progress reports. Site visits can also give investors a sense of the location, infrastructure, and surrounding environment, ensuring that the project’s setting aligns with the promised potential for growth and development.

Furthermore, an on-site visit allows investors to witness the community and demographic dynamics surrounding the project. Understanding the local market demand, potential employment opportunities, and the socio-economic landscape can be crucial for projecting the project’s success.

While many EB-5 projects on the market are in the very early stages of development (or have not started construction at all), Twin Lakes has already sold over 550 homes and is already profitable. Four hundred and nine homes have been completed and delivered to homebuyers. All major amenities have been constructed.

Last weekend’s site visit gave potential investors a chance to see Twin Lakes’ success firsthand.

We believe EB-5 investors should have access to as much information as possible—including in-person visits—to make an informed investment decision.

Prospective investors also had a chance to meet with EB5AN managing partner Sam Silverman and vice president Ahmed Khan and get answers to their questions.

Twin Lakes Site Visit for EB-5 Attorneys and Promoters

EB-5 attorneys and promoters arrived at the Twin Lakes site in the early afternoon and met with the EB5AN team and representatives from Kolter. After a tour of the 15 fully furnished model homes, the attorneys and promoters visited the amenities and toured Twin Lakes’ state-of-the-art clubhouse.

The guided tour ended with a drive through the Twin Lake site, ending at the pickleball courts (the largest in the state of Georgia.) Attorneys and promoters were able to get a sense of the project’s construction progress and appeal to homebuyers.

This event offered a much-needed space for networking. Forging strong professional relationships with other EB-5 professionals strengthens the industry and the quality of EB-5 projects on the market.

EB5AN’s Commitment to Transparency and Investor Education

Through a series of free online materials, webinars, and in-person seminars, EB5AN continues to show that investor education is one of its highest priorities. Given the immigration and financial outcomes involved, we want investors to have access to as much information as possible. In-person site visits are a unique way to empower EB-5 applicants and help them invest with confidence.
