EB5AN Obtains Regional Center Coverage for the Entire Continental United States

EB5AN is pleased to announce a significant new achievement in the EB-5 industry. Following recent USCIS approvals for several of its regional centers, EB5AN’s regional center coverage now spans the entire continental United States.

Based on publicly available information, EB5AN is the only EB-5 program operator whose regional centers cover 100% of the continental United States.

Sam Silverman, co-founder and managing partner of EB5AN, said the following: “EB5AN has achieved a unique milestone among regional center operators. USCIS’s approval of our regional center applications demonstrates their confidence in our ability to sponsor compliant and successful EB-5 projects.”

Silverman continued, “With our track record of over 30,000 EB-5 jobs created to date, a 100% USCIS project approval rate, and total project development costs exceeding $2 billion, EB-5 applicants can invest in our projects with confidence.”

EB5AN can now offer EB-5 investors the opportunity to invest in projects located anywhere in the United States. This will allow EB5AN’s regional centers to sponsor even more institutional-quality projects that maximize investors’ chances of both getting U.S. Green Cards and a return on their funds.

EB5AN co-founder and managing partner Mike Schoenfeld had this to say: “The wide approval from USCIS shows their trust in EB5AN’s ability to manage regional centers effectively. Our goal has always been to encourage economic growth throughout the U.S. by creating more investment opportunities that encourage local economic development and job creation.”

“This wide coverage is a big step towards that goal, showing both investors and USCIS our dedication to making a positive impact. This trust motivates us to keep improving and creating more opportunities for EB-5 investment across the country,” Schoenfeld added.

Why Regional Center Coverage Matters

The vast majority of EB-5 investors choose projects sponsored by regional centers. Regional centers are USCIS-approved entities that manage the flow of EB-5 funds into various projects.

Regional center sponsorship is the only way for EB-5 projects to pool funds from multiple EB-5 investors. Therefore, most EB-5 projects choose to work with regional centers.

An additional benefit for investors is the ability to count EB-5 job creation based on project expenditures—not only on standard job positions created by the project. This makes it easier for EB-5 investors to fulfill USCIS’s requirement to create at least 10 jobs with their funding.

Because reaching the job creation quota is an essential requirement to get a Green Card through the EB-5 program, investors generally prefer the reliability of a regional center-sponsored project.

Each regional center has a limited coverage area in which it can sponsor EB-5 projects. In addition, gaining USCIS approval for regional center designation requires submitting Form I-956.

Through the I-956 application, USCIS evaluates a regional center’s ability to create jobs and economic development throughout its targeted coverage area.

The I-956 petition requires applicants to describe the projects the regional center will sponsor and the jobs that will be created. Applicants must also include supporting data, business plans, and economic impact reports.

Benefits for EB5AN’s EB-5 Investors

What does this mean for you as an EB-5 investor?

USCIS approvals of EB5AN’s regional centers—covering the entire continental United States—demonstrate our ability to structure successful EB-5 projects.

When an EB-5 project succeeds financially and thus has a positive economic impact, its EB-5 investors benefit. This increases their chances of creating the 10 required jobs (thus qualifying for a Green Card) and of getting a timely return on their funds.

Invest in an EB5AN-Sponsored Regional Center Project

EB5AN is pleased to offer two best-in-class regional center EB-5 projects: Twin Lakes Georgia and Wohali Utah. Both projects offer a high level of immigration and financial safety.

Reflecting on the recent USCIS approvals, Silverman explains, “The journey towards achieving this level of trust from USCIS has been both challenging and rewarding. This endorsement significantly elevates our standing in the EB-5 space.”

“With the doors now open for investments across a wider geographic area, the scope of what EB5AN can accomplish is expanded. It’s a stride forward in our mission to structure more EB-5 projects that not only help our investors immigrate but also contribute to local economies throughout the country.”
