Highlights From Bay Creek’s August 1–15 Calendar

Bay Creek is a luxury master-planned community in Cape Charles, Virginia, and a compelling rural EB-5 project sponsored by EB5AN. As a rural targeted employment area (TEA) project with a senior loan, Bay Creek offers EB-5 investors access to priority processing and reserved visas under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program.

Beyond its strong fundamentals as an EB-5 investment, Bay Creek is already home to an active and growing community. The first half of August featured a wide range of seasonal programs, from golf tournaments and nature hikes to live music and family activities.

Below is a recap of the first half of August at Bay Creek.

Community Socials and Entertainment

Bay Creek’s Coach House Tavern continued to serve as a hub for gatherings this month. Sunday Funday drink specials provided a laid-back start to each week, while Trivia Night with Frank Hughlett on August 5 offered a fun evening of friendly competition. The Tavern also hosted Ladies’ Night on August 12 and Martini Night on August 13, alongside the recurring Wine Down Thursday promotion, which gave members half off a second bottle of wine.

Live music and local flavors were also featured. Sunset Jam on August 7 brought neighbors together on the beach to enjoy songs from the Woodstock era, and on August 15 the Cape Charles Brewing Company Tap Takeover introduced guests to a range of local craft beers through flights and pints.

Golf Events and Championships

The month began with a Ladies League Clinic & Play Day on August 5. The morning session in the simulator room focused on golf skills and included a complimentary mimosa, followed by a nine-hole shotgun start and a special group lunch.

The Legends Member-Guest Tournament, held August 7–10, was the premier event of the season. Members and their guests competed in a round-robin format across multiple nine-hole matches, with flight winners advancing to a sudden-death shootout. The tournament program also included practice rounds, a Par 3 contest, auctions, and receptions, creating a weekend filled with both competition and camaraderie.

From August 11–15, Bay Creek hosted the 78th Virginia State Senior Amateur Championship, welcoming top amateur golfers aged 50 and older from across Virginia. The tournament format included stroke play to determine match play seeding, followed by elimination rounds throughout the week and concluding with the championship match on Friday. Members were proud to cheer on three Bay Creek players who competed in the field.

The events of August 1–15 once again reflected the depth of life at Bay Creek. Golf tournaments, family programs, and social gatherings all contribute to a residential community that is well-supported and consistently engaged.

For EB-5 investors, this kind of activity supports stronger property demand and a stable foundation for job creation, both key factors in the success of an EB-5 project. Bay Creek’s rural designation provides priority processing and visa set-asides, and the project combines attractive immigration benefits with the advantages of a senior loan structure.
