Twin Lakes Georgia Rural EB-5 Project Holds First Outdoor Concert

Cresswind Twin Lakes, a new 1,300-home active adult community by nationally renowned home builder Kolter Homes, held its first outdoor summer concert ever earlier this month. Twin Lakes is a rural EB-5 project available for green card investment through EB5AN.

Sons of Sailors, a Jimmy Buffett cover band, took the stage at Twin Lakes’ brand-new lakefront amphitheatre on Saturday June 3rd, in front of a crowd of more than 400 residents. As the sun went down, guests swarmed the dancefloor in front of the lakefront stage.

“It’s like an old concert back in the day” said Twin Lakes resident Pat Young. “And especially a Jimmy Buffett revue is unbelievable. Everybody’s excited.”

The Cresswind Twin Lakes clubhouse has already hosted several concerts for residents since its opening in March 2023. But the Sons of Sailors concert in June marked the first use of the clubhouse’s brand-new outdoor bandshell.

“Hosting our first outdoor concert at Cresswind Georgia is a significant milestone,” according to Mark LaClaire, Kolter’s Director of Lifestyle. “This event truly showcased the breadth of social and recreational opportunities available here, and it’s just the beginning.”

Twin Lakes was the third stop on Sons of Sailors’ three-week Cresswind Summer Tour, taking them to other active adult communities by Kolter Homes around the Southeast.

Since the 1980s, the band has performed “Parrotheads” across the country, and even on cruise ships in the Caribbean. Also known as The Tony Pritchett Band, the six-man ensemble performs a mix of Buffett classics, other rock covers, and their own originals.

The Twin Lakes Lifestyle

Twin Lakes Georgia is Kolter’s latest real estate development for active adults over 55, catering to the rapidly growing market of active retirees. Twin Lakes is the best-selling active adult community in the state of Georgia for the second year in a row.

The low-maintenance homes, selling from the upper $300,000s to the $600,000s, are also affordable, especially for the neighborhood’s target demographic. Active retirees are often quite wealthy. In fact, nearly 50 percent of Twin Lakes home sales are paid in cash, eliminating the need for mortgagers.

The community has a wealth of amenities, including two lakes for watersports, indoor and outdoor pools, hiking trails, and a staggering 21 pickleball courts—with another 40 planned. Cresswind Twin Lakes also has plenty of social clubs for residents, like Travel Club, Veteran’s Club, Men’s Club, and, of course, Pickleball Club.

“It’s really not the amenity, but the people itself”, said Young. “Everybody just enjoys each other. It’s just a fun place to live.”

Others in the crowd agreed. “The Cresswind lifestyle is all about the social events and the people,” noted another resident.

Twin Lakes is EB5AN’s latest rural EB-5 project, available for investment in Georgia. All EB-5 jobs have been created and the project has rural targeted employment area (TEA) designation, allowing for a lower EB-5 investment of $800,000.

Kolter Homes is a trusted national homebuilder worth more than $24 billion, with nearly 10,000 homes built in master planned communities all over the country. Kolter is also the leading builder of active adult communities in Georgia, with several of its sold-out communities winning national awards.

When asked what he loved best about the active adult community, Darnell Richardson, a resident of Twin Lakes, said “I love the camaraderie with all the neighbors, all the friends that I’ve met. And it’s just a thrill to be here.”
